I have some catching up to do on LightHeartedLocavore especially now that the farms are waking up from a very long winter. Last week I bought some really good spring veggies, fish and local turkey and have a few recipes to share... will post later this week. Global Cooking Locally
For the last 10 days, the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development has been holding workshops and market tours involving students in the city. On May 13 from 1 to 3 p.m., there will be a culinary display, including cooking demonstrations by students, in the Greenmarket at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, 47th Street and Second Avenue.
