Long Island Press Features Lighthearted Locavore

"Get some help from the Lighthearted Locavore, a Long Islander who knows a thing or two about where to shop local." 6/4/09, Long Island Press

Thanks for the kind words, Jaclyn Gallucci, Staff Writer over at the Long Island Press, who featured this blog in her article "Green Living: Be A Locavore" two weeks ago! "You just might be a locavore" she says in reference to Long Islanders who support local farmers and wineries or grow their own veggies.

Click over to the article -- there's lots of useful resources for Long Island Locavores (and some fun artwork too)!

Do you frequent farmers markets? Grow vegetables in your backyard? Buy wine from the vineyards out east? You just might be a locavore. MORE
