New York Botanical Garden Goes Locavore

Ariel Handelman over at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx let me know about the EDIBLE GARDEN exhibit a few weeks ago and I'm finally able to focus on all they have to offer. A combination of festivals, weekly farmers markets, and "learn it, grow it, eat it" kinds of events all summer-long. The Edible Garden at NYBG has a lot of great stuff going on:

- Vegetable and Fruit Gardening and Art classes for adults and children
- Cooking demonstrations on Saturdays
- Weekly farmers markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Festival weekends (September 12-13) with celebrity chefs
- Edible Garden Store including an online site
