Just Food continues to amaze me. On the heels of their hugely successful Food and Climate Change Summit in December, Just Food recently announced their latest conference -- the CSA Conference -- for the end of February.
I'm gearing up for my 4th year with Chubby Bunny NYC CSA on the upper west side which you can read more about on Lighthearted Locavore/Chubby Bunny . Being a CSA member has been a truly positive foodie/locavore experience that I would have never know about if it weren't for my relationship with Just Food.
Sign up for Just Food's CSA conference now -- last year it sold out. And, don't forget to sign up for a CSA -- shares in NYC are going fast. And, read more about JUST FOOD.
Just Food presents their 10th annual CSA in NYC Conference on Sun. Feb. 28, 2010.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) connects local farmers with New York City residents through a unique, pre-paid share system. The Just Food CSA in NYC Conference is an opportunity for the general public and CSA members from around the city to come together with local farmers for a day of skill building and policy workshops ranging from CSA trends and management to food policy and food justice topics. The conference will also include a farm panel and an expo and reception, featuring local purveyors of food and drinks.
