Edible Garden: Learn, Grow, Cook, Eat at NY Botanical Garden



Ariel Handelman over at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx let me know about this year's EDIBLE GARDEN exhibit -- a garden-wide exhibit featuring local and seasonal foods. I gather the inaugural garden in 2009 was a huge success so they are repeating the exhibit this year.

A combination of festivals, classes, chef demos demos, gardens throughout the 250-acre setting and more from June 19 to October 17:

Family Harvest (Columbus Day Weekend), on October 9, 10, and 11
Fall Finale, October 16 and 17

COOKING DEMOS
Each weekend The Edible Garden will feature cooking demonstrations by chefs such as Keith Snow, Rick Bayles and Peter Hoffman and food blogger Cathy Erway in the Conservatory Kitchen with seasonal ingredients.
