Winter Farmers Markets in the Hamptons: Sag Harbor Re-opens for December

Just as many of the farmstands are getting ready to close for the winter in the Hamptons, Edible East End just announced on their Facebook page that Sag Harbor Farmers Market will re-open for three weekends in December. A Winter Farmers Market, near my house.... YES!

The organizers, Slow Food East End, secured the building across from the regular farmers market. The usual vendors with their Hamptons grown vegetables, preserves, honey, wine, artisanal cheeses, etc. along with baked goods, delicious treats and handcrafted gifts for the holidays.

Dates: Saturday mornings December 4th, 11th, 18th.
Time: 9am-1pm.
Where: 34 Bay Street in Sag Harbor, NY  (across from the Breakwater Yacht Club).

And, in case you need to stock up now, catch the Westhampton Beach Farmers Market before they close for the season. With just two more weekends drive on over for the assortment of fish, shellfish, veggies, jams, fudge, soap, eggs and more.

Date: Saturday mornings November 27th and December 4th
Time: 9am-1pm
Where:  85 Mill Road ( Village Municipal Parking Lot), Westhampton Beach, NY
